Tanggal 19 Novermber 2006 kemarin akhirnya diumumkan pemenang The 5^th Korean Film Awards yang disponsori oleh MBC. Dan berikut ini daftar pemenangnya:

The Best Actor : Jo In Sung (Dirty Carnival)
The Best Actress : Jang Jin Young (Between Love and Hate)
The Best Supporting Actor : Lee Bum Soo (The City of Violence)

HadOoh, congrats ya, smuanya... esp. buat Lee Joon Ki n Jo in Sung! Hihihi, diriku tidak salah pilih idola! *ambil nglirik ke randjay dan terkekeh-kekeh*. KEdua aktor itu emang two thumbs up, pasalnya mereka bermain pol-polan dalan filmnya masing-masing. Lee Joon Ki berhasil dengan kemayuannya di The King n Clown (sampai banyak yg ngira dia perempuan!) sedang Jo In Sung dengan ke-macho-annya.

Dan bisa dilihat, kalo The Host yang berjudul asli “creature” menyabet penghargaan terbanyak yaitu 6 awards sekaligus! Hal ini tentu saja tidak mengeherankan karena di tahun 2006, film yang disebut-sebut sebagai “monster” ini telah ememcahkan rekor perfilman korea yang telah menjual lebih dari 13 juta tiket. Dan sangking tenarnya, film ini juga akan dirilis di US oleh magnolia pictures di awal tahun 2007.
